Paid 1-800 and 1-881
This service is for businesses or residential customers who wish to make a Toll Free Calls to anywhere in the world.
Please note that not all 1-800 or 1-888 numbers are free and all paid 1-880, 1-881, 1-882 or 1-888 numbers can be accessed from The Bahamas.
When the customer dials a 1-800 or 1-888 number and receives a recording, this means that the 1-800 or 1-888 number dialed is not a free call but rather a paid 1-800 or 1-888 number. The voice then guides the customer through the various steps which must be taken in order to complete the calls.
The per minute charge for this type of call has been reduced from $1.30 per minute to 99¢ per minute. Now BTC introduced Paid 1-800/1-881 Volume Discount. There is no need to apply for these savings. The discount is calculated automatically each month.
A three (3) level discount plan is offered for the Paid 1-880, 1-881, 1-882, 1-888 Service:
