Telephone Service

To our valued, present and prospective customers:

To simplify the process of applying for telephone service, we have created a list of things you should know and who to call.

General Requirements

When applying for telephone service customers should provide BTC with the following information:

Call us today and let us bring the power and convenience of smarter telephony to your home and business.

1. Applicant's name
2. Number of telephone lines being applied for
   
3. Applicant's contact number and mailing address
   
4. Name of subdivision
   
5. Street name
   
6. House number and name (if any)
   
7. The nearest utility pole number to the customer's premises
   
8. Next door neighbour's telephone number (if known)
   
9. Existing telephone number, if applying for a second line
   
10. Indicate if location is an apartment
    
11. If apartment, indicate the number of units, and apartment number where service is being requested. Also, indicate if there was previous telephone service, and provide telephone number, if known. Please note that this number will only be used for Engineering purposes.
    
12. Landlord's name and telephone contact.

Please note:
For apartments, it is the responsibility of the landlord to provide necessary infrastructure for telephone service, i.e. pay for the costs of the lead-in cable.

Application Requirements:
Bahamian - Valid Passport and National Insurance Card or New Bahamian Drivers License and National Insurance Card. Non Bahamian - Passport, permanent residency certificate or other government issued ID.
