BTC Phone Card
The BaTelCo Phone card makes regular use of pay phones more convenient by eliminating the need to search for quarters or to carry large amounts of coins or tokens. Easy to use, easy to carry, the BaTelCo Phone card offers you cheaper rates than an operator assisted call.
Simply insert the phone card into the slot provided on the front of the cardphone. The value available to you will immediately be shown on a small display screen in front of you. Lift the receiver, wait for the dial tone and dial the number you wish to call.
You can make as many calls as you wish. The length of call is limited only by the value remaining on your phone card. Twenty seconds before the value of the card expires, you will hear a warning beep. You may continue the call by inserting another phone card or your call will automatically be terminated at the end of the twenty seconds.
With the BaTelCo Phone card you can dial inter-island, Long Distance and Overseas calls directly from the new cardphones. BaTelCo Phone cards are available in $5, $10, $20 denominations and can be purchased from any BaTelCo Central Telegraph Office (CTO) or other phone card vendors throughout The Bahamas.
