Nassau, The Bahamas, January 14, 2009. The Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited, BTC officially introduced its four new 2009 Bahamas Telephone Directories at a press conference today. The 2009 directories have been completely revamped, making them more customer friendly and world class reference tools for residents and visitors alike. Readers are eligible to win up to $50,000 in weekly and monthly drawings when they complete the Directory entry form.

This year, BTC chose to highlight the Bahamas National Trust for their fifty years of service in building and managing the national parks and protected areas of the country.
New items in the 2009 Telephone Directories include advertising banners, menu pages, coupon pages, and an opinion page. Residents have until February 27th to complete the opinion page and will be entered to win a $100 Go Yellow Phone Card and a sleek new BlackBerry Bold. To be eligible to win up to $50,000 in weekly and monthly prizes, complete the entry form on page ninety-six in the Bahamas White Pages directory.
BTC revamped several sections of the directory including the Government Pages. The section goes more in depth to include the history and information on the Bahamas Government. The directories also include important emergency numbers, island-by-island information pages that provide financial services and investments, local attractions, events and activities, Bahamian National Symbols, essentials from NEMA regarding hurricane preparedness, postal rates, all about where and what to eat in The Bahamas and an extensive section on the products and services offered by BTC.
The 2009 Bahamas Directory are available in Nassau at the Post Office, Esso, Shell and Texaco Service Stations, City Markets, Super Value Winton, Cable Beach and Golden Gates locations, Solomon’s Super Center, CostRite and all BTC Multi-Purpose Centers (CTO). In Grand Bahama, you can get your Directories at Municipal Gas Station, Solomon’s Wholesale, Focol Service Stations, Sunrise, East Mall, Queen’s Highway, Hawksbill and Eight Mile Rock Service Stations, Boulevard Gas Station, Boulevard Service Ltd., the Post Office on Explorer’s Way, Cost Rite, Winn Dixie. And, in Abaco, your Directories are available at K & S Auto on Don McKay Boulevard.
The online version of the 2009 Telephone Directories are available on line at www.bahamasypages.com. The CD Rom version of the Directory will be available on March 31st. The four telephone directories include the New Providence, Abaco and Grand Bahama white pages, and the yellow pages.
