BTC's 'ONE BILL'... MAKING LIFE EASIER FOR OUR CUSTOM
Nassau, The Bahamas, May 26, 2008 The Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited (BTC) has announced that it has signed an agreement with Cerillion Technologies to provide one bill for its customers. Doing this eliminates the need for separate bills for fixed voice and wireless customers, and helps to preserve the environment.

"Merging our billing systems is not only cost effective, it also makes doing business with BTC a lot easier," said Mr. I. Kirk Griffin, Executive Vice President. He continued saying that "Converged billing is a part of the company's strategic plan, and in the last year we have received increased requests from our customers to place all of our products and services on one billing platform".

Presently fixed voice customers, receive a bill for wire-line, TDMA post-paid wireless and Internet services and GSM post-paid wireless voice customers receive a separate bill. If you are a customer with all of these services, you receive two separate bills, possibly in two different billing cycles.

During the late 2006 "Voice of the Customer" exercise customers indicated their strong preference for receiving one bill encompassing all of their charges.

Another key advantage to the new single billing platform is that it is environmentally friendly. This 'green approach' to billing helps to safeguard the environment as it reduces the amount of paper bills the company has to produce on a monthly basis.

As the company moves forward, it foresees a day in the future where paper billing may be eliminated altogether. The company took its first steps in this direction in August, 2006, with the launch of 'EZPay' (pronounced easy pay) which allows customers to receive and pay their bills on line in real time. The company will continue in its aggressive approach to encourage customers to move towards e-billing. 'EZPay' presently allows customers to pay their wire-line, Internet and post-paid TDMA bills online. With the new billing solution from Cerillion, BTC customers will now be able to receive and pay all of their bills online.

Cerillion Technologies have provided similar billing solutions to Cable & Wireless, Caudwell Communications and BT Wholesale.

BTC continues to position itself to provide solutions that connect its customers with their needs.
